National Context

This section focuses on the implementation of the training module activities in the three countries: Bulgaria, Italy and Greece.

It was developed by experts representing the three organizations participating in the project - Association NAIA in Bulgaria; the Women's Center at Karditsa in Greece and the Defence for Children International in Italy. An overview of three national contexts in the three countries and the policies that promote gender equality is provided. This part also features an outline of the way the modules were adapted methodologically to reflect as much as possible the established pedagogical practices in the different educational systems. The expert conclusions and recommendations provide guidelines for continuing and developing the project-based work towards lasting and sustainable presence of gender equality in the education of children at an early age.
